Water Filter System Nepal

This project involves equipping various schools in Nepal with water filtration systems. This is implemented with our project partner ECCA (Environmental Camps for Conservation Awareness). ECCA was founded in 1987 and is one of the leading organizations with a program for clean drinking water in Nepal. Two different technologies are used for the program’s water treatment. Either a water filter with a ceramic cartridge (as in our project) or disinfection with a chlorine solution. Training courses on water, sanitation, hygiene and the use of the system complete the program.

Further background information on the project can be found in the project description
