Water treatment system in Tanzania

Kinder-an-der-neuen-Anlage

Our first finalised project from donations of the Impact share class. The installation is not very good looking, but it is very helpful and practical. It is a SoWaDis (Solar Water Disinfection) system that was installed at a school in Tanzania.

The project was realised in cooperation with the waterkiosk foundation. The Swiss foundation has been installing water treatment systems at schools, hospitals and in village communities in Tanzania since 2011. It has already given over 125,000 children and adults access to clean drinking water.

You can find more information about the project in the project description.
