Andreas Borer

Andreas Borer started his professional career at SBC (UBS) in 1994. After 12 years at UBS with several years as Senior Equity Analyst/PM in London/Zurich, he founded his own equity fund and then worked for a water fund and the Charisma Foundation. Andreas joined Tareno in April 2025. At Tareno he manages the stock selection and works as an equity analyst with a focus on equity valuation models. As an ESG analyst, he is also responsible for implementing the sustainability strategy in the investment processes.

Andreas Borer holds a lic. rer. pol. degree from the University of Basel and the title of federally certified financial analyst/asset manager (AZEK/CEFA). He likes to spend his free time with his family or cycling in the fresh air.
