Josef U. Bollag worked for ten years as an asset manager at Credit Suisse, where he spent time in London and Paris. He then worked as an independent asset manager in Basel for almost 20 years. In 2005, he became a partner at Tareno AG. Two years later he launched the Tareno Global Water Solutions Fund and was CIO and responsible fund manager for 14 years. He also managed Tareno AG with a sure hand as CEO from 2011 to 2020, and has served as a member of the board since 2020.
The father of three children, who is passionate about music, film and theater, actively supports projects in the cultural field.
