Ralph Frey

Ralph Frey joined the Board of Direc­tors of Tareno AG in June 2024. With over 30 years in the finan­cial services sector, Ralph Frey has an impres­sive wealth of experi­ence as a leader in private banking, insti­tu­tional and corpo­rate clients and asset manage­ment in Switz­er­land and abroad. Besides this, he holds a degree in business admini­stra­tion from the HWZ.

Ralph Frey began his banking appren­ti­ce­ship at Crédit Suisse in Zurich in 1985. As early as 1989, he moved to the corpo­rate client business at SBV, now UBS. As part of an inter­na­tional mobility program at UBS, Ralph Frey spent a year at CCF (Crédit Commer­cial de France) in Paris. Back at UBS, he held various manage­ment positions until 2024, inclu­ding in the division wealthy private clients in Zurich, in the corpo­rate clients business and as Managing Director in wealth manage­ment for Germany. Ralph Frey was also a member of the Manage­ment Committee of UBS Asset Manage­ment Europe.

The married father of two grown-up children enjoys spending his free time on his mountain bike.
