Water is more than just a vital resource. It is a growing investment theme that offers attractive opportunities for investors. Dr. Eva Reuter describes this impressively in her article.

Water is increasingly being recognized as a promising investment theme on the stock markets. There are numerous listed companies operating in the water sector. These include utilities, water treatment companies, and providers of technologies for improving water use efficiency, as Dr. Eva Reuter explains in her article.

Our fund manager Stefan Schütz explained why companies such as Veolia and GEA Group are among the core positions of the Tareno Global Water Solutions Fund and how we combine returns with positive impact.

Award-winning water package solution: Tareno Global Water Solutions Fund

As Dr. Eva Reuter reports, the Tareno Global Water Solutions Fund is one of the outstanding funds in the field of sustainable water investments: launched in 2007, this actively managed fund focuses on companies that offer solutions to water scarcity and pollution.

Veolia is banking on profitable growth through the complete takeover of its water technology unit and expects this to result in rising earnings in the long term. DZ Bank views the strategy positively and continues to rate the stock as a “buy.” De.mem, a fast-growing company from Australia, scores with innovative membrane solutions and continuous sales growth, already in its 25th consecutive quarter. The company is a technological leader and has a strong international network. GEA surprised in the first quarter of 2025 with strong results that exceeded expectations. The company also offers energy-efficient water technology and could potentially be promoted to the DAX, explains Dr. Eva Reuter.
