Construc­tion supplier Georg Fischer is in the midst of a trans­for­ma­tion, while sanitary techno­logy company Geberit conti­nues to expand its market leader­ship and pricing power. As a result, the shares are performing very differ­ently in terms of investor favor.

Water is one of the most valuable resources and offers a wide range of invest­ment oppor­tu­ni­ties. Accor­ding to estimates by the World Bank initia­tive Water Resources Group, global invest­ment in water-related infras­truc­ture will amount to $6.7 trillion by 2030 and $22.6 trillion by 2050. In Europe, numerous support programs for the expan­sion of water infras­truc­ture are on the agenda. Germany alone is planning an infras­truc­ture fund of €500 billion, which is intended to boost the construc­tion sector as a whole. Article only available in German.
