Water is one of the most valuable resources and offers a wide range of investment opportunities. According to estimates by the World Bank initiative Water Resources Group, global investment in water-related infrastructure will amount to $6.7 trillion by 2030 and $22.6 trillion by 2050. In Europe, numerous support programs for the expansion of water infrastructure are on the agenda. Germany alone is planning an infrastructure fund of €500 billion, which is intended to boost the construction sector as a whole. Article only available in German.
