More quality of life for the people of Koutaba in Cameroon

Foto Erklärung des Wata Kit Kamerun (2)

The aim of this project was to supply the population of Koutaba in the central African country of Cameroon with clean drinking water. For this purpose, a so-called WATA kit system was installed at the centrally located Mataket Health Center. This produces enough chlorine to purify around 10,000 litres of water a day. In addition to the installation of the system, Tareno’s involvement also included the training of the staff in its commissioning and use. Another component was the instruction of ten employees from different communities, who now have the task of informing the surrounding households about the offer and distributing the necessary chlorine solutions.
