Tareno Water Fund: Successful through an active approach

Despite volatile markets, Tareno’s water fund impresses with its disci­plined invest­ment process. The fund invests world­wide in shares of compa­nies that are committed to the sustainable use of water as a resource. The strategy is a useful addition to tradi­tional equity portfo­lios and offers broad diver­si­fi­ca­tion with attrac­tive poten­tial returns.

A key advan­tage: with a fund volume of around EUR 200 million, our fund remains lean and flexible. This means that promi­sing small and mid caps can be added to the portfolio in a targeted manner – a decisive diffe­rence to many large water funds, which are heavily reliant on large caps and lose agility. This opens up poten­tial for additional outper­for­mance.
