What is an asset management mandate?
An asset management mandate offers wealthy private individuals an efficient way to have their assets managed professionally and over the long term without having to actively deal with market analyses or individual investments.
Together with us, you define your goals, your risk profile and your investment horizon, as well as the investment philosophy. We take over the day-to-day management of your portfolio.
Asset management with the core-satellite approach
As part of our asset management+-+mandates, we at Tareno rely on the proven core-satellite approach – a well thought-out combination of stability and targeted opportunity+-+seeking.
The strategic core of your portfolio consists of high-value direct investments and cost-efficient, exchange-traded index funds (ETFs). These form a solid, broadly diversified and stable long-term basis for your asset+-+structure.
This core is supplemented by carefully selected satellite investments. We use these actively managed investment modules to exploit market opportunities – for example in specific themes, sectors, regions or asset classes.

Tareno investment solutions
We offer four clearly structured, actively managed investment solutions.
- Classic: A proven, broadly diversified, and globally oriented investment solution with a forward-looking allocation across equities, bonds, and alternative investments. This is primarily implemented through direct investments in individual securities. Optionally, a variant consisting exclusively of climate-friendly equities can be selected. It is also possible to exclude private market investments and/or cryptocurrencies.
- Dividend: Based on the Classic solution. Equities are selected according to additional criteria such as the amount of the dividend and its sustainability. Optionally, a variant with exclusively Swiss dividend stocks can be selected. It is also possible to exclude private market investments and/or cryptocurrencies.
- Water: The global importance of water is undisputed. Investments are made globally in listed companies that directly or indirectly offer products and services along the water value chain. Investments in drinking water rights and water sources are excluded.
- Swiss Opportunity: The Swiss stock market offers a large number of global market leaders in high-growth markets. Investments are primarily made in quality stocks, although opportunistic opportunities are also exploited. Optionally, a variant can be selected that invests exclusively in small and mid-cap stocks, i.e., excluding the 20 largest large caps of the Swiss Market Index (SMI).
All four solutions are available in CHF, EUR, and USD currencies and in up to five different risk profiles. This allows you to choose the equity allocation that suits your personal security needs.

The "Dividend" discretionary mandate
Would you like to generate income with your assets? Then the "Dividend" investment solution is made for you. When choosing shares for this purpose, we pay special attention to the amount and consistency of the dividends, price volatility and solid balance sheets.
The discretionary mandate "Water"
The investment solution "Water" is especially suitable for investors who would like to set a special focus in addition to an existing mandate. It allows you to invest globally in listed companies that are involved in the development and the commercialisation of solutions to solve water scarcity and water related stress.
The "Swiss Opportunity" discretionary mandate
Our «Swiss Opportunity» investment solution enables investors to benefit from the opportunities offered by small and medium-sized equities (of which more than 60% come from Switzerland). These less recognised stocks often offer higher returns compared to established companies. With proven business models and solid balance sheets, they enable effective diversification. Despite possible disproportionate losses in weak phases, they offer the opportunity for strong gains in positive market phases. Our solution utilises these market dynamics, takes liquidity into account and adapts to individual risk profiles.
*Our Classic, Dividend, Water and Swiss Opportunity investment solutions can be combined according to your personal preferences. The equity allocation is individually tailored to your risk appetite. Your portfolio can also be supplemented with bonds, alternative investments and liquidity. In this way, we guarantee a customized investment strategy that reflects your values and goals.
